"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes" - Marcel Proust
The key to Abundance is getting that all we will ever need is already is within us, that we do not have to "become" nor "beget" anything, but simply can live into who we are - much like the acorn growing into a tree, or, indeed, a caterpillar metamorphing into a splendid butterfly.
For that we need to shed all shoulds, conditioning and expectations and, with Bob Marley, "emancipate our…

Dear Sacred Spacers,
I am mindful that through an attitude of gratitude
we create a sacred space around us
allowing and attracting great things to happen.
How much more so when we do it together in community!
For this I just wanted to share this wonderful website: http://www.worldgratitude.com/

How did you feel when you learnt that Ponzi scheme perpetrator, Bernie Madoff cheated investors out of US$65 billion (65,000,000,000) of their hard earned money? Madoff incidentally, is now residing in somewhat smaller government provided accommodation, with a 150 year sentence to contemplate.
Then how do you feel about the CEO of a United States investment company who received US$69million per year as a salary package, while it was obviously going down hill?
It is not a question of how many d…

Many of you I am sure, have heard of Anthony Robbins, considered the foremost authority on psychology and peak performance, along with his inspirational and motivational work. I have to confess I am a great fan of his and have absorbed his teaching with great enthusiasm.
In his “Inner Strength Series – Lessons in Mastery”, together with world renowned teacher, Cloe Madanes, he discusses the six basic human needs which are:
Certainty }
Variety }
Significance } Personality needs
Connection / Love…

You may feel anxious and challenged by the changes that lie ahead, but consider the true meaning of fear:
False Expectations Appearing Real
Or also:
Frantic Effort to Avoid Reality
False Evidence Appearing Real
Forgetting Everything is All Right
False Emotions Appearing Real
The key to change is to let go of fear. Love is what we were born with. Fear is what we learned here. Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing. Fear k…

There is no space when we are attached to past, to knowledge, to opinion, to judgment,
to our story
about how things are and should be
about who we are and what we should be.
Then we have filled it already to the brim -
full with our old self, without space for new awareness.
Freedom is freedom from external boundaries
Freedom from authority
Freedom from having to follow in the footsteps of others - philosophies, religions, ideologies, whatever
And Freedom is freedom from internal boundaries…

Coaching is the Art of Creating Sacred Space
allowing for the insights, break-throughs and self-creation
of the Coachee to occur
For that the coach
must deliberately
create and hold the space
not have any agenda of their own
own their own throwness in this world
and operate from their committed IS-ness
in total support and
heart to heart sharing
with their Coachee
- With beautiful balance between giving and receiving,
every question an open question
and every contribution either providing clar…

The Perfect Process - It really doesn't matter when something negative happens to you on any one specific day. It is all blessed fuel for your spiritual awakening. Your ego will of course be judging your experience as wrong, terrible or consider it to be the dramatic victim of all creation (if

I would like to thank Liz Ford, who I have invited to become a member of this forum for sharing "
Beyond Survival" by Graham Leicester with me. If you are interested in the current recession and how the world might need to be different as we emerge from it then follow the link and read the paper which is a downloadable pdf. I think there are significant implications for consciousness in the world of work and why it is necessary to help…

I guess everyone at this site believes that there is more to us and more to the universe than just matter. One of our members, Mervin, shared a link to some video tutorials with me the other day that I have found to be informative and entertaining.
In a nutshell, these videos take the viewer through excerpts from the book, The Elegant Universe, by Brian Greene. Brian explains why string theory might hold the key to unifying the four forces of nature.

I have been encouraged and inspired this week on two counts. First by the Obama presidential address but perhaps more importantly by the consequential thought processes that this address has caused. It is as if Obama has been the spark to a flame and if this keeps going the flame will become an inferno.
John Campbell, president of the Global Leadership Alliance, wrote The Obama Effect – radical change in a recession, focussing on Obama’s consistent reference to hope, opportunity, change and “ye…

Hi Clive and Mervin, it was great to connect with you both last night in such a peace full Oasis.
I'd have once ironically, but as we all know its pure synchronicity...
I've been a member of a sister gathering called the Essential Space for the past five years, The Essential Space started out around the Four Agreement wisdom Don Miguel Ruiz and swiftly spread to adopt the sharing of the spirit of the likes of Eckhart Toole, Brian Mayne, Neale Donald Walsch and Deepak Chopra and the magical mys…

The cycle of human consciousness I promote as a simple formulae for a fulfilling life is as follows:
1. Connection: taking time out to be alone at one with ourselves and the universe allows us to connect and live our life with presence.
2. Presence: being fully conscious and grounded in all we do, being there in the moment for everyone we meet.
3. Right action: resulting from being fully present, at other times we react in reflex and unconscious manner.
4. Reflection: allowing us to learn from…

It’s New Year’s Day and like so many people, I’ve been thinking about resolutions. I’ve made a few and many of them are the same as last year: drink less, eat fewer sweets, exercise more and so on. From the people I speak with, it seems these are in the world’s top ten resolutions anyway.
So I wondered if maybe a different approach to resolutions might work. There’s only one way to find out. Let’s give it a go.
So today, I share with you a new method for making resolutions based on my limited…

The 8 pictures were all taken during a recent family holiday in China. Words can only hint at what was there. At each location time seemed to stand still and a moment tasted of eternity. Despite the crowds there was a feeling of quiet, stillness, reverence, respect, dignity, determination, oneness, smallness as a part of a bigness. For me, and you knew for many others (over centuries in some locations), Sacred Spaces.

It's Christmas day. We've been to Church as a family, I've cooked the Christmas family meal, shared it with three generations, played a game, exchanged presents and we've been very much together. I've also taken some quiet time to find space, to connect.
This time of year is a great time for space. There is space between one year and the next, between get togethers, between the seasons. The night brings space between the days and the silence brings space between words, even between thoughts.

I read an interesting article in the paper (The Sunday Times - Singapore - Dec 7, 2008) recently and was struck by a variety of positive attributes about the young man in question and thought I would share them with you.
Quote – “
The six years I spent in prison were the best years of my life”
Does this mean he was partying every day and night – I doubt it!! I believe what he meant was that as a result of this experience, he has changed his behaviour and can now reflect back on his priso…

It's getting close to that time of year and I am sure all of us have made New Year’s resolutions; those decisions we make to herald in a new year, where we consciously choose to improve our lives or some element of it. Yes, is this true for you?
How long do these new changes usually last? One week? One month? All year? Ironically, most of our resolutions last until about the beginning of February!! Why is this so?
Why is it that when we decide to do something constructive for ourselves, there…

“Be the change you wish to see in the world” – so said Mahatma Gandhi, a simple but profoundly wise man who influenced the lives of Nelson Mandala, Martin Luther King, Aung Saung Suu Kyi of Burma, one hundred and sixty million Indians seeking independence and yes, even me!!!
By “Don’t Wait” I mean, don’t stand around waiting for a lottery win or someone to bail you out of trouble, especially now in these challenging times. This is a time to take stock of our skills and abilities and hone them t…
